Short one this week, but not exactly a quiet one. Someone tried to buy Hugo Boss and got curved, Gucci Beauty is about to enter a whole new era, and one Jonathan Anderson x Zara rumour that has been floating around for what feels like centuries has officially been sent to the graveyard.

Frasers Said “I’ll Take It.” Hugo Boss Said “Lol, No.”

Frasers pushed its stake in Hugo Boss to nearly 48% this week, which sounds very I basically live here now. Except the actual takeover offer? Flopped. Only 17.6% of investors said yes.

So now they own a huge chunk of the company without actually controlling it. Awkward. Very awkward. And obviously, the interesting part now is what Frasers decides to do with that almost-48%.

Gucci Beauty Is About To Enter Its Transfer Era !

Gucci Beauty’s licence is moving to L’Oréal in 2027, and interim CEO Markus Strobel has started laying out what happens between now and then.

Quiet industry news, sure. But these licence changes are never just paperwork. Whoever controls a fashion house’s beauty business basically gets a huge say in how the brand shows up in people’s everyday lives for years.

So yeah, this one is worth keeping an eye on.

He shut it down this week. Which, honestly, makes sense. The man has Dior. We don’t need him picking up side quests 🙂

Paris Is Already Kicking Summer Out !!:(

Yeah , you can feel it. Paris is slowly packing summer away , sadly ! but NGL , I was waiting for this to be over !

Paris-Plages is almost done, Rock en Seine is closing out festival season this weekend, and the open-air screenings at Parc de la Villette are down to their final nights.

Basically, if you’ve been saying “we should do that before summer ends,” this is your last warning. Go lie on a lawn, watch a film, drink something, romanticise your life. September is coming for us.
